Some Tourism sectors still partially closed in Gatineau and Quebec due to the Covid-19 pandemic


June 2020 - Certain prohibited tourism sectors awaiting indefinitely for a date for secure reopening.


Here is what is currently still closed or prohibited June 2020 due to Covid 19:


TOURISM:

  1. Youth hostels (stays of 31 days or less)
  2. The Bed and Breakfasts - (stays of 31 days or less)
  3. The border with the United States is closed at least until June 21, except for a few limited cases of family reunification
  4. The ban on circulation in waters for cruise ships is maintained until October 31
  5. Amusement park
  6. Water parks
  7. Zoos
  8. Aquariums

RELIGION:

  1. Places of worship
  2. All religious gatherings of any denomination, unless essential

And still closed inside the Metropolitan Community of Montreal (CMM) and the MRC de Joliette:

  1. Tourist residences, such as chalets and inns
  2. Establishments of main residence (Airbnb type)
  3. Establishments in Sépaq territory
  4. Motels
