Simply The Best

So pleased that my regular hotel was full and unable to accommodate my one night stay. I found a real diamond at Kokomo. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and serene location, the owners had clearly done a thorough job on finding out what their customers like , and then adding their own thoughtful touch. The host took the time to show me all the facilities and extraordinary selection of good things in their fully stocked guest kitchen, she was charming and very helpful, even helped me carry my luggage upstairs to an absolute oasis of peace and tranquility that was to be my room for the night. Every possible thought had gone into making a guest feel at home had been carefully considered, and I honestly can say this place leaves most business hotels in the dust for many reasons. The cost was incredibly good value and I felt instantly at home, one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time on lovely bed with higher quality sheets, superb is not a big enough word!
Waterfront location affords a good opportunity for an evening walk, Kokomo has everything you need and then some. Loved this place and I will come back. Very pleased to recommend to anyone looking for a great place to be.

Great Place

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Kokomo for our 40th wedding anniversary. Parissa and John were excellent hosts and very knowledgeable about area restaurants and attractions. Definitely going to stay again. 😊

Beautiful Comfortable Setting! - Attentive Hosts!

Attention to detail is clearly in the minds and hearts of these fine hosts. Beautiful, cozy rooms, comfortable bed, positive ambience in every part of the place. Fully stocked kitchen/dining area with a multitude of items in consideration of any diet preferences. Excellent location in the city area, yet the feel of a rural setting, including a tranquil river view and access right across the street. Wow!

Pleasant Experience

I had the pleasure to stay at the Kokomo Inn at the end of October 2022. What a pleasant experience. Everything was in excellent order and the hosts were deligthful. Next time I will stay much longer.

Splendide

Cet endroit est parfait pour un passage à Gatineau. Le gîte est des plus accueillant et que de dire de ses propriétaires. Je n’ai pu rencontrer Mme mais JT est un hôte très accueillant et a l’écoute des moindres besoins des visiteurs. Je me suis senti comme chez moi dès mon arrivée.

L’endroit est très propre, nous avons a notre disposition tour pour cuisiner et il y a au tour du gîte des endroits pour nous reposer avec une ambiance paisible.

Merci pour l’accueil et peut-être que dans un avenir rapproché je retournerais m’assoir sous le saule devant le kokomo à regarder les bateaux passer. Merci pour tout….😉

Very nice place and great hosts

We stayed for 3 days at the Kokomo Inn and felt at home outside our home. Parissa and John were very considerate of us, in view of a little problem with our reservation, but they did everything they could to soften what happened and showed a lot of empathy. The place is very nice, clean and cozy. We thank you very much for the hospitality and attention given. We will definitely refer the Kokomo Inn in Ottawa to our friends. Thank you Parissa and John!

Everything you need just like your home

The property had everything you need just like your home you don’t miss nothing you can cook if you had an oven and free delicious breakfast also location so close to of all attractions and tours. Mostly of walked and cycled during my stay... I just park my car and did not touch it because everything was so close and near beautiful sites and riverfront nature near Parliament and Rideau Hall

Atmoshere was serene!

Absolutely every detail was wonderful. The room was cozy and clean. The bed was so comfortable, sheets of a very high thread count. DIY breakfast was perfection. Selection was like nothing I've seen before and the atmosphere was serene.

Les hôtes étaient très accessibles pour les questions, parking gratuit facile, la chambre était super propre, très propre, (super oreillers et lit très confortable, calme pour une bonne nuit de sommeil, le prix était raisonnable et la cuisine du petit déjeuner était charmante avec beaucoup de petit déjeuner les choix!

We loved the Kokomo!

We had a great room, close to a great place to eat. The kitchen was very homey, with lots of great stuff to eat for breakfast and gourmet coffee. What more do you want?

Exceeded our expectations

We stayed at Kokomo Inn aux Berges des Outaouais for 4 nights. We were expecting it to be a nice place to stay, but it exceeded our expectations in every way. The atmosphere is great, the breakfast is amazing, but the best thing about Kokomo Inn are JT and Parissa (the owners). They're great people and they obviously care a LOT about this place and their guests, and they put in a lot of effort to make it as great as it is.
There are many great amenities as well, such as free Netflix, Amazon, High Speed Fibe 1500 MB/s in the bedrooms (we've never had that before), bike rental, canoe rental, amazing DIY breakfast options (it deserves mentioning twice), and so much more.
We could write so much more, but just know this. If you have a chance to stay here and you don't, you're missing out.

This place is like a home away from home. JT was very friendly and welcoming. My room and the entire Inn was very clean. There are lots of choices for breakfast. The coffee is great! Do yourself a favour and give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

It is just THE place to stay

Kokomo Inn - what can I say? It is just THE place to stay, if you want to have a relaxed place, which is just a 10 minutes drive away from Downtown Ottawa. The hosts are honestly the best ones we had on our 24 days trip thru Canada. JT & Parisa welcomed us warmly, gave us nice advises and just made us feel like home. Actually just anything was great about this place: rooms, beds, bathroom, communal kitchen, parking space, location, variety of self-serving breakfast...nothing bad to say, seriously. We'll be back in a few years for sure!
